The photo had me thinking it was a detail of a volcanic inspired piece by Len Castle! Lovely to find your blog. I saw a wonderful exhibition of work by you and Estelle at Brett McDowell gallery in Dunedin a couple of years back. Just great to see the surface that wood ash and long firing can produce. Nothing quite like it!
