This lovely prostrate camellia is now flowering beautifully and, although it falls quickly, it looks wonderful when used in a kakehana - a small hanging flower vase.
Last year I bought a rich dark red camellia (night rider) for my Mother. It flowers quite late and the flowers are on the inner parts of the plant rather than on the outer areas. It's a pity camellia just don't last like some other picked flowers.
